so a legend was created about a man that had b@lls to send to nintendo a homebrew card with games in it !!!!
you are my hero!!!

Nah, he was just stupid.

You could always tell them that if they destroy your flashcard you would sue them because of the fact that you own every last game that's copied onto that flashcard.
sorry, I found it funny that an american said that ><
In this country (and, I believe, any other), sue-ing because of this reason will have you laughed at... trust me.

iv sent in my dsi with dstti in it and i got it back fixed ?
huh idk had its label too.

except they deleted all my dsiware for somereason also set my name as #4453 i just restored it to defaults.

any ways at least it wasn't action replay media edition that would be funny XD (cart sticks out allot kinda obvious.)

Sorry to say but don't you think it was a stupid idea to give them your flash cart when you sent in the DS anyways? Using flash carts is illegal because you had games on them... It wouldn't be illegal if you already had the games but I doubt you did anyways.

it wasn't his fault the flashcart got sent. it was an accident.

by the way flashcarts without SD cards should be just as illegal as action replay.
if it is then he is safe because nintendo lost a court agains gamegenie back in the 80's

Do people not read the op thread? He said it was an accident. Haven't you ever forgotten something? Things happen. I hope nintendo doesn't sue him or anything.
no they won't
did they ever sue any hacker?(well only one that dumped nsmbwii)
they aren't sony!
anyway if they sue they will sue hackers or flashcart teams
not some random user(without proof that he is pirating, no sd cart)

BUT, the SD card was also sent.

And that's most likely full of ROMs.

Awww man I am sorry to hear that dude.

Look on the bright side -- AW is right; there are TONS of Homebrew and Emulators that are awesome seuper sexy and those can keep you entertained.

You still have your EZ Flash IV! That's all you need anyways

(GBA IS KING ALL HAIL GBA)

The max i think they could do was sue him for the retail price of each game that was on the SD Card? because, well, they only lost like 1 sell, of each game that he downloaded... so... or am i wrong?

Sometimes people that pirate games wouldn't have bought them anyway, so its not like they could calculate how much loss they had in a year.

And really guys, the last thing I want to hear is 'Man you're stupid. Herp derp derp.'

Thanks to DigitalDeviant for understanding the major problem.

It may have been accidental, but that doesn't mean the responsibility to take it out was not yours.
if you told your family to send your DS away then you should have had the foresight to take the cart out, and could not possibly have expected them (being old and unknown in the way of technology probably) to know to do it for you.

Don't pin it on an accident on your family's part. Take responsibility for your mistakes, no matter how stupid.

That being said, I didn't mean my name calling to come across so harsh. I meant it more in a "Dude... how could you?" kinda way, as opposed to a "You are the scum of the Earth" kinda way. Hope there's no hard feelings.

you cant let a stupid decision make you stop using flash carts
and it could be worse they could of kept the dsi or broke your dsi
so all your out is the save games and the supercard - 40 bucks
No, quitting Nintendo piracy is something I need to do. It's getting out of hand.

The PSP on the other hand is just asking to be hacked. And even then...

My view? You're either all-in or you're not. It's hypocritical to say "well, I am pirating X media to an obscene amount, so I am gonna stop and pirate Y media instead."

I used to be a BIG TIME pc leach, downloading whatever I could get my hands on from a warez forum I used to frequent. I had pirated well over 10 grand of software and video games, movies, and music within a year. I recognized how bad I was getting with it and just stopped. Didn't pirate for a few months. And I grew out of it. I was pirating anything that sounded neat. Now I only do if I really want it or actually need but cant afford it. I downloaded tons of Wii, GC, NDS, and other roms within the past year.

Karma, dude. All that pirating? The hard drive shit out on me one day. Had all my pictures with my friends and everything on it, too. Pictures, saves of my programming classes from highschool, my music, some not-so-important documents, and all my games and other warez. Gone. Your SCDSTWO is the same thing, my friend. I won't say stop because its a bad habit thats hard to break, but go and get a new one and hell, just relax on it a bit. I honestly don't even know the last thing I pirated, it's been a WHILE. Probably Pokemon White.

Anyway, good luck whatever you decide to do. IMO, the DS is too weak of a system without a flashcart, not nearly enough to do. Get a new one and just get back on track with it. The DSTWO isn't an arm and a leg expensive at least.
>Wrote massive amounts of data to hard disk
>Never make backups
>Hard disk gives out
>Call it karma, not disk failure due to overuse

And anyone here who's considering giving up piracy, do as you will. If you're letting some inner voice drag you down about all those games you never would have bought anyway, you aren't cut out to sail the high internet plundering data.

i don't know what was on your FC but if there's no games or anything hacked you should be fine. and if your lucky you may get it back. and what is this sudohax or what ever it's called? sorry if this was said before what the sad thing about me is i only have one usb decive that can transfer stuff and of course i have to but a big mirco sd adpter in it with a mini sd card.... so yeah that kinda sucks... but you might be lucky. and for the people who post omg this guy is so retarded herpppy derppy piss off!! we all make mistakes... and i'm sorry for my other post saying about checking i was just conserend. and yeah it's moring and my spelling sucks atm. and i agree GBA is pwness if only mr driller 2 got more love before 2005...

Alright, tomorrow's the day I get my DSi back, apparently repaired and everything. And my SD card, hopefully formatted incorrectly. I'll run a file recovery and hope for the best.

I find it hilarious that people think Nintendo can/will sue a kid for playing some games on a flashcard. I'm sure they would love wasting their time
