Gaming I'm new here. Got a quick question before I pick up a PSP

I had a Phat which I loved very much but it died on me. I'm heading to Gamestop to pick out a used PSP tomorrow. I think I'm going to go with the Slim but I have a question. All I want to do is put CFW on my PSP. What should I look for on the Slim for the perfect hackable system? I don't want the GOW or SW versions. I'm going to see if I can inspect them. What am I looking for? Thanks in advance. I look forward to being part of this forum

You could see if they let you remove the battery to see what slim version it is specifically, I guess. You shouldn't have a problem if it's used though, methinks.

Ok. So I'm guessing there's a code under the battery that will tell me if its hackable or not? What code am I looking for?

PSP-2001 is the one I'm using.

have a look at the box before you open it, and with the serial number there should be a letter
anything G and above is unhackable.
but, if its just a G, its 50/50
That way, you can take it back and get full refund.
