On CFWE 3.70 I tried to play Lunar: Silver Star. It froze with a black screen after selecting the game.
Clearly there was another step that I needed to do, but I forgot what it was.
What was I supposed to do?

it probably is decrypted or it would give the numeric error message.
more likely it needs the patch still.
dont ask me what patch - i'm referring to whatever edecrypt does when you decrypt&patch.

o_O if your on 3.70 M33 like I'm thinking that means you need to update to 5.00M33. Or else I could be totally wrong if your on a different CFW.

CFWE gives me 5.00 M33.
So I need to decrypt it...

Okay, so I've been using EDecrypt and when I go to decrypt/patch it, it freezes and shuts off.
Earlier on, it's been said it's been decrypted otherwise it would give me a message.
So... how do I patch it?

you need 5.00 M33-6
that's the final version.

edecrypt shouldnt crash.
and you should be using 1.3.1 btw.

CFWE? Would you please care to explain?

CFWE stands for Custom Firmware Enabler.
It's the only choice that exists for people with the PSP2000 TA-088v3 motherboard.

Meh, went lazy. Got an already patched one, and used SONY NP-whatever driver.
