. A passme device is used to boot into the GBA slot with DS code. If you are able to boot into the GBA slot, you can run any apps in DS mode. FlashMe is a DS app running from the GBA slot. Having it already installed bypasses the need for a passme device. You can still boot FlashMe.nds without a passme. I hope that answered your question.

Yeah I know, but I had to spell it out for him. I know he had flashme installed already and wanted to install steath over standard.

ok well, i gave it a try and heres what happened...

as soon as i selected flashme_stealth.nds, i pressed start, did X,B,X,B and the % was already at 66%...what gives? so whatever i short SL1 either way, gets to 100% and when i reboot my DS, hold select and there we go, i get the health screen.

unfortunatley, what i wanted to do in the first place is not what i have just done. what i wanted to get done was i want the DS to boot right away with the health screen and then DS menu (while the supercard is inserted) instead of booting the Supercard directly. is there any way of doing this?

and the thing about flashme_stealth that was already at 66%...thats normal?

right now i have flashme_stealth installed on my DS but i have the files flashme_stealth.nds and flashme.nds on the SC itself. obviously, if i select to install stealth again the percentage should be automatically at 100%.....will this be the same for the flashme.nds file, or wil it be at 0%



(i would test it out but i cant since i sold my SC + miniSD to my friend so i could gte myself a SC Lite..)


and a small side question while im at it...everytime i flash my DS, is it ok if theres a DS game inserted in the DS slot? or should there be nothign in there?

66% means it's a part that doesn't need to be rewritten if you already have flashme, it is perfectly normal. On non-Lites, it'll fill to 100% w/o shorting, but Lites need re-shorting.

It is ok to leave a game in the DS slot.

so now if i want to go back to regular flashme, the status bar wont be at 100% right? itll be at 66% or 0%...

it'll be 66%, if it's a phat DS it will go automatically, if it's a Lite, you have to re-short SL1
