    1) RBU is an evil little game. It likes to clear out the contents of the GAME folder if there isn't a file at the root of that folder. The easy solution to stop it is just to put a dummy text file in that folder.

    2) Update to 5.00 M33-6. And reboot if you haven't.

Once you do all of that and put your games back, they should work. You may need to play with your configuration stuff (e.g. UMD driver) in case any of that has changed.

Use your computer open the PSP/GAME folder on your PSP and make sure it has stuff in that folder and create a blank .txt file and right click it choose properties and mark it as READ ONLY then make sure your using just the M33 driver to load games and not the SONY one and it will be fine from then on [IMG]

Its copy protection that detects the GAME folder and corrupts or try's deleting that folder/contents!

edit: ViRGE beat me too it doh!

It only tries to delete files and folders in the GAME folder IF it detects you run CFW.
It does not just detect or you use a GAME folder.
As you might know PSN downloaded games \ demo`s also go into this folder.
Original version would never delete files on OFW.

To fix either do what the guys wrote above make a empty *.txt file in your game folder.
Also install the plugin: Custom Firmware Folder Blocker.
To be sure non of the games you will launch the next time will delete anything.

    i dont understad this part
To install, copy cfwblock.prx to ms0:/seplugins and make an entry in game.txt
    e.g. ms0:/seplugins/cfwblock.prx 1 i just copy ms0:/seplugins/cfwblock.prx 1 to the game.txt file?

It tells you to copy the file: cfwblock.prx to the folder seplugins on your memcard.
If you do not have one; create one so it will be like: *:\seplugins\cfwblock.prx

Then inside this folder you should have a txt file called: game.txt
If you do not have one; create one so it will be like: *:\seplugins\game.txt

Now open the game.txt file with a text editor and paste the line:
    ms0:/seplugins/cfwblock.prx 1

Save it reboot the PSP and the plugin should be activated.
To confirm this you could bring up the recovery menu on your PSP and see if the plugins is "Enabled"

I do not think this protection was made by Sony, but by the game developers.
Seeing the fact there are newwer games out there than rockband unplugged that do not have the protection.
Newwer games mainly only have firmware checks. (The latest one seen on PSN)

But for now its better to use both methods to be sure your data on memstick is safe.

i managed to get cfwfolderblocker to work, and i succesfully upgraded to 5.00 m33-6. but i dont get the part with the create a dummy file, i must name the file to something. *.txt dont work, and what about mark as read only? and where to put the .txt file then?
