As I said I'm asking for it...

A few days ago I was thinking, why not use the R4 OS? Can't you just patch it? So I did and tested it out... It sort of worked you can boot it up it says "not support adapter?". Any way to get it to work?

Because the R4 is looking for the R4's hardware perhaps? Usually you can't just run one device's firmware on another device. There are a few exceptions for devices that are similar in hardware, like the DSTT/Supercard DS and all the N-card clones, but the GnM is not like any other device so this won't work.

Why do you think that it would work? They are completely different pieces of hardware. Thats why the 'adaptor is not supported'.

But it is possible. The easiest way of getting the R4 firmware to work is...

1. Buy a R4
2. Put firmware on it.

Or even better, get a better flashcart such as a acekard2.

What patching? And he wasn't trying to be funny, it's true... It's not going to work.

Sorry, but I'm confused, how do you guys know what he's talking about?

Can somebody please tell me what is he talking about? I can't extract any information from these sentences alone

Congrats on wasting money on a Games N' Music.....

Just because they removed "gullible" from the english dictionary doesn't make it offensive.
They TRICKED me into buying it. anyway i'm confused. how do you put firmware onto a crappy flashcart with a built in OS (which sucks and can only read)
