I don't know why you can't spell correctly and use correct grammar.

No offense though.

Wait just a minute...
You correct his grammar, and then use a sentence fragment?

I'm sending you to remedial forum jackassery classes.

Now, lilmac, the reason that people here are so jaded against the R4 name is because the original (and fantastic for their time) R4 group was disbanded by court order. Soon afterward the flashcart market became flooded with R4 clones that didn't perform nearly so well as the original had, even though some of them offered options that the original R4 did not, such as SDHC compatibility, or in this case DSi compatibility.
You've got the right idea, though.
If you're satisfied with the performance you get from you R4i, then by all means, keep using it until you're no longer satisfied, or until it is broken. Just know that you might have to search high and low for future support on this flashcart.
Chances are that this card will last you for a while, and by the time that it is no longer satisfactory, a newer and far superior card will be available.
(Perhaps even a Cyclo solution; Keep your fingers crossed for that one.)

EDIT: By the way, there is an ongoing discussion about the best DSi compatible flashcart here.

Hope it helps you.

Because there are a lot of better features on the Acekard than the *cough* R4.
Seriously, I made the switch and it was worth it. You also say the R4i was the only one you could afford but it was $30 dollars and the AK2i was $19 at dealextreme. Whatever, you'll go get one when you become dissatisfied with your clone

Some people just live off of the R4 name, that's why.

It's really not about the spelling and my grammar in my opinion.
