If someone offered you a 100% free Wii U, would you take it?

so, If someone offered you a Free Wii U, would you take it? no games with it, but all the cords and controllers and whatnot do come with it. I personally would, but I'd be getting an NX anyway, so it kind of defeats the purpose, huh?

Why wouldn't you, when you can just take it and resell it afterwards?

Uhh... why?

Of course, and I will go to the store and get for it Mario Kart 8, Xenoblade X, Super Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2, and as it is only a couple of days away, Tokyo Mirage.
Probably I would also get into the eShop and buy again Metroid Prime Trilogy, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Mario Galaxy. And a Wiimote/Nunchuck to play those Wii games.

Oh wait, I already did all that (also I bought many more games but I think those are the only ones I would buy again).

Because the WII U is horrible and the NX is (hopefully) less horrible
Well, of course. If the question was "would you get a Wii U or wait for the NX" the answer would be "how much is the Wii U?".
If it is 100€, even if there are only such a few good games, it is a good buy.

Of course, it's free so why not. I don't have one now so I wouldn't even think about it, I would just take it.

There is a classic economics question they pose to students about whether they would take $10 offered them today or next week, this is not even that though.
Anyway

Looks like there are some things worth desoldering even I can not resell.

Wii U has no games but at the same time I missed out on some of the later 360 and PS3 games which did get some ports and I still can't be bothered to reassemble my 360, and though I would sooner get a Wii to use a GC controller with I guess I have a couple of Wii games that need to be played. Wii U games of any great merit still seem pretty expensive though, and most of those I don't care for (the list seems to be Bayonetta 2 could be OK and I might give Mario Kart a go as previous ones were not terrible). My friends would not make fun of me for having a wii u, not that any ever would have and "it is not like I paid for that shit" answers anything else there, so I don't even have that. I might even leave it set up rather than stash it in the cupboard of wonder.

I will go one further. I would even part with £20 for a working one/one I could fix without buying anything costing more than £5 in for.

Who doesn't like free shit?
The obvious joke is to contemplate literal shit but I do have to say if I put any more scrap and scrap wood in my back garden the neighbours will probably complain. To that end I have had to turn some things down. Granted this is a tiny wii u
