Unpatched unit you don't have to worry about the firmware, fusee-gelee exploit work on all firmware.

I got lucky and bought a barely used unpatched Switch with joycons, dock, all the cables and two cases for £200 on Facebook Marketplace about 3 weeks ago. The Gods were certainly smiling on me that day.
