Bluetooth? Yeah right. Why do we need that? We already have Wi-Fi which we can use to make our DSes communicate with the computer via a wireless router. There loads of specialist hardware that would need to be made for bluetooth and even then, what would we use it for?

i cant tell you why we need this because we dont, but i can answer what we could do with it...

example 1: your at school and some1 has a picture/music you want... you could bluetooth it to your dsi

ex2:you forgot your micro sd adapter. guess whos coming to the rescue?... bluetooth

ex3: can anybody say supper bluetooth hack??(it would have to be converted to .nds though)

plus think about all of the homebrewers who would start making bluetooth home brew(the antenna/built in antenna would have to decode/recode the signal first i think)

if it sounds easy to you. you make it XD. oh, did you read my post about your spelling?

IT WONT BE POSSIBLE VIA HEADPHONE JACK OK? ITS JUST FOR AUDIO (you know? music, sound etc).

if it was possible, why was there not one made for the pc?

bluetooth has a hardware required. it's not magically appearing in a software. go build a micro-chip for the DSi and prove your geniusity

you simply didnt read the whole thing(or i have grammar errors lol)but im not mad at you thats just not what i do.

there would be an external antenna or built in antenna

Ok then. What practical uses are there for I see none. Bluetooth is a medium used to transfer data between 2 different devices. We already have such a device built into our DSes called "Wi-Fi" meaning that with an appropriately set up router we can transfer data easily

You may correct in some respects as some mods such as the JumboTron DS do not really serve much purpose other than proving it can be done. But Bluetooth in the DS is just so superfluous considering we already have a way of transferring information that nobody cares enough to do the work and coding to make it work.

Theres a lot of "we" being thrown around. I think you are support to replace it with "they"

Still, nice troll attempt. To bad you had to be so obvious with a fresh account.

What if we could have blue tooth on the dsi? wouldn't that be awesome?

the dsi has a head phone jack that could possibly hold an antenna that's compatible with blue tooth!! and a flash card might possibly be able to run some specail software that could talk to what ever drive(ex. c: d:) the head phone jack is in.

i think this might work because i know the headphone jack has a driver code(which would be used in coding the program) and i know that a flash card can send a signal to it because it can play music duh
smile.gif
. but things i dont know is if the antena could send A signal back, but (and im not sure) ive seen programs that could sense if you had a pair of headphone pluged in, which would lead to the idea that the head phone jack sent signal to the flash card.

o and i dont even know if they sell bluetooth external antenna that can plug in to the head phone jack so if you invented it you could be rich

so if you know any skill that could possibly make this work plz work on this project

Stop trying to act smart when you have little or no knowledge at all.

i know more then my gramar lets on and this is possible EVEN IF ITS NOT THROUGH THE HEAD PHONE JACK WHICH IVE SAID IN EARLIER POST.

ive already said that it dosent have to be in the head phone jack and there is such thing as a analogue to digital converter the sell them

Even if bluetooth WERE possible there is still no guarantee there is a way to communicate with any storage media you may have connected to the DS.

As for file transfer between 2 DSs, there is DS2DS.

for communication, for one, it has it's own microphone, and besides that there are wireless headsets for the DS.

and...wtf is a super bluetooth hack??

i hate replying so much but here it goes...

1. your welcome for making you lauph now you owe me a dollar lololololololololol

2. thats what ive been trying to say there are none!!!! in fact this is soo pointlessly hard if any body had this on their ds you would be like WHAT THE HELL??????? and then you would want to do it to. you do know they make usb bluetooth dongles all you would have to do is figure out how to fit that in a ds(via head phone jack or built right in the flash card)

3.read number 2 twice

thank you for you input as far as my knowledge goes (and im sure im wrong on this one) (and im speaking the flow of signal through the ds) the signal from and out side source broadcasts a certain frequency and the antenna picks it up as i digital signal and then the signal makes its way through the wire to the flash card and the program on the flash card reads the info (does not decode/recode just simply reads it) then it sends another signal that goes through the wire and broadcasts it through the antenna and the process is repeated (i don't know much about the inner workings on a ds but isn't it a straight shot through the ds to the flash card?)

and i dont feel like explaining what supper bluetooth hack is just google it plz

It would never work you would have to design a whole new way of connecting a bluetooth hardware device to whats essentially an audio Jackplug... In order for this to work you would have to make it convert digital to analogue and then re code it analogue to digital at the other end to decipher/translate this ..... which to be honest would not be a walk in the park for even a good/experienced ds homebrew writer for this reason they would have to a first find a way of driving a signal to the new hardware device then make it convert a digital signal to analogue and back again that's if they could even get the hardware to work it would still be a crap load of programming!

re super bluetooth hack (its a j2me program that works on j2me mobile phones)

sure you could maby load this on the J2ME emulator but thats about it ...it will be looking for a mobile phones hardware bluetooth components to work .... as its emulating the phone in memory using a pretty basic java/j2me emulator that's running .class files you would then have to re write the j2me or jar/ .class files to be able to get it to read the hardware addon from the headphone socket via the emulator that's running on a DS/DSi hardware again if that's even possible to create and make it work)

the ideas an thoughts are there but ...that's all!

there is too much for the average joe to be able to make the hardware and program the software to use this new hardware..working on their own to use the hardware its really going to be too much hassle too time consuming trying to get it all work decoding/encoding digital to soundwave analogue and back again at the other end all this and create all this for free... along with the hardware it just would not work!

EoF pl0x!

This guy cannot be serious. Maybe we should put a DVD drive in too, or even a BluRay drive and with a little coding we'll all be able to play PS3 games on our Nintedo DS!
