[Idea] 3ds/wii u hacking linux distro

ok so:

There isn't a distro built just for 3ds hacking

Although if someone cared enough someone could make a 3ds hacking linux distro.

Go and speak to @smealum he might be interested as a side project

that is how the idea happened.
maybe an ubuntu fork that includes:
devkitpro
some random 3ds hackin stuff
some random wii u hacking stuff
xxamp for selfhosting.
some other random stuff.
removing the need to remove the .trash files.
and something else... (also porting some hacking tools)
and java
and phyton

(now, i am not saying "hey can someone do this for me cause i am lazy?", i am just proposing an idea that i and @Luglige camed up with

It seems kind of overkill to create an entire linux distro just for 3ds dev work. Pretty much any linux distro can do it just fine if you install all the necessary stuff.

yeah, it might seem, but i mean it not only for dev, and in linux someone has to deal with the .trash files for exmple, and a bit of srabilization of it never hurts

debian? sorry i am really new to linux. i only virtualized it once to run a script and never touched it again.

debian is the core of what ubuntu is made of.. ubuntu is a mod of debian

if you have a nice RAM you can virtualize it (you need 4 gb of ram at least if you want to assign it 2 gb)

yeah.. i know, but my cpu is a fireball, so meh.. i have fun installing windows xp and loading it with viruses when i'm having a cool day

And ubuntu isn't a "mod" of debian, it's based off the debian Sid/unstable branch. At this point they're essentially two totally different distros in philosophy and function.
