Will SmashStack be able to be reused if the next console is backwards compatible ?
I know IF it did then it would need a lot of work to getting it running in a new environment, but knowing Nintendo....

I wonder if they will do things like the jump from GC to Wii though when they changed the MATSHITA DVD-GAME to lower case but still the same allowing a whole host of hacks to emerge for the wii quickly.

lol, you cant know that and judging by history facts would suggest you're wrong but only time will tell.

well if you think it's gonna be magically hacked in a few days after release your going to be disappointed.

I dont think that.

However, I do expect some top devs to find exploits in very short time(I have faith), n00bs wont know about these until they are released.

The Wii was released about the end of November 2006 and the first modchips were released about the end of January 2007. The exploits never took long at all considering the testing and production inbetween.
