Hello.:)

It seems your File is not ok.
The correct File Extension should be Gamename.nkit.gcz

You do not need to unpack/unzip something.

Thank you.:)

You're missing the recovery partition, so it can't verify the resulting iso as valid. You can either try to get this recovery partition, or if you don't care about having a verified iso, you can find the option in nkit to keep the iso even if it isn't verified.

There are ways to download recovery partitions, but since they are usually shared between several games, you may also be able to use nkit's extract utility to get it from another iso you have.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:

but its a custom os for both of them
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
    designed for only specific hardware

so you have to learn to emulate that specific hardware which isn't as easy as you'd think

    Probably combined in one chip

They place married security chips onto boards iirc

Didn't see much need for a console, all the advantages have kind of disappeared
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
the ps3 used to support installing linux because the cpu was so powerful

At one point PC game pads where poorly supported, loading a game had setup, it was complicated. Now it's almost as easy as a console.
