Hacking Question I 'thought' I was in EmuMMC

been running Atmoshpere (Kosmos 14.2) for a few weeks, was on OFW 9.0 and followed guide: https://switch.homebrew.guide/

I can boot no problem, been playing games no problem, just used ChoiDujourNX to upgrade to 9.0.1, no problem but I just noticed:

Current system version: 9.0.1|AMS 0.9.4|S

S for System. Shutdown, restarted, TegraRCM Hekate 5.0.2 > Launch > CFW (emuMMC) still shows S instead of E. Not sure if like this the whole time or until after the update. What am I doing wrong?

First off, did you actually create an emuMMC? It doesn't just create itself when you select the emuMMC boot option, and if there is not emuMMC that option just boots to sysMMC.

So you partitioned the SD correctly, had hekate make the emuMMC (which takes several minutes), all without any errors?

Correct. Took about 10min I believe for emuMMC and SD created per https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/user_guide/emummc/partitioning_sd/ to the T


Update: emuMMC is disabled in Hekate. Creating emuMMC “again” to see what happens

update2: god damn, I’ve been in SysNAND this whole time, emuMMC worked this time and is booting properly and I have to reinstall all my games which is fine but sucks as I’ll probably get banned now. Balls.
