Hacking I think I'm becoming impulsive

Help me GBATemp, I think I might be becoming impulsive towards buying flashcarts.

Today I almost bought a DSTT from RHS, however I resisted it, dispite the fact that it was only $15+1GB micro SD+free shipping. The thought still haunts me though.

What I really should get is a 16GB MicroSD card. However I don't know how well it will work with AKAIO, and to make matters worse, any that I have found have been atrociously expensive.

So GBATemp, help me resist my temptation, and please inform me of anywhere that is

reputatable that
Has well-known brands of MicroSD's
Has 16 GB MicroSD's preferably class 4 or 6
Is not named DealExtreme
Is located in the united states
That has reasonable prices (I do not want a card that is going to cost me $50+ even if it is a 16 GB one)

I got mine on ebay for $40. You could try there or simplymods.com, I dont know of anywhere that sell class 4 or 6 tho. And I know what you mean, I've bought pretty much every cart on the market.

I think the better question is... Do you really NEED a 16GB MicroSD card?
I very much doubt you'll be able to find a 16GB MicroSD for less than $50, and any that you do find will probably be counterfeits and/or have slow read speeds causing noticeable slow load times.

Eh, still $40+ there at simplymods, I'm a college student that is very tight on funds, and to make matters worse one that is naturally stingy with money to begin with.

Maybe I'll just settle on an 8GB card.

Still the thought of getting that DSTT from RHS is still haunting my mind.....It's almost like a real life DarkChip from MMBN4-5, so sorely tempting to get...yet I have to resist it.
