Hacking I need help with DLDI

I really need help with my ds r4 card, so if you can help i would really appreciate it. So here is my story.

So i downloaded the DLDI patch for my R4 card and i patched my homebrew that needed patching via the right click application. Any time i try to connect to the internet (with dsMaps, aim, msn, dsOrganize), it didn't work. So i tried looking into it. I tried to open a homebrew app with dsOrganize but a message came up saying that it could not open the application because it needed "to be patched with DLDI". So i said, "well i know i patched it, maybe that right click application just doesn't work for me." So i downloaded the Win32 application. I patched the files again and it continues to not work or connect to the internet. Can somebody please help me?

If it makes any difference i am using a DS Phat and i do not have any slot 2 hardware.

Also i forgot to state that when i search for a connection with dsOrganize, my network does show up. And it doesnt really matter cause i have already connected to Mario Kart WIFI (just to make sure i've done it earlier today as well). Also Everything i've patched seems to work otherwise - and by that i mean i can save files, create, and load. I'm really not sure whats wrong....

Please help, i would really appreciate it.

what version are you running?! the latest official firmware (1.18) can patch applications that are in the root of the card and also if you look on dragonminded's site dsorganize for r4 needs a file to be replaced which can be found on his site...

Which R4 do you have? Is it an R4 Deluxe/Ultra/Pro/SDHC or something like that?

No, it's just an R4. Also i put them on the root (silly me), and replaced the executable stub which fixed the whole "not dldi patched" error in dsOrganize, but its still messed up because now instead of coming up with that error, i just says "Attempting to launch your flie with the Chishm loader." and doesn't load anything (i've been waiting a cupple of minutes now and still nothing). Also the internet still won't work on any of the homebrew.

I'm not sure dsOrganize allows you to launch stuff on the R4. I haven't used it in a while so can't be 100% sure.

Well truthfully i don't care if dsOrganize can or can not launch stuff because im not setting it as my shell or anything. What i really want to fix is the problem with my homebrew not connecting to the internet. It's really bugging me.

Yeah, if it doesn't work with other games it won't work with homebrew

It works fine with my Mario Kart DS, Metroid Hunters, and Pokemon Pearl.

So i was looking around on the internet some more and it seems that there is a Wifi patcher. Unfortunately all of the links are dead so i could not find a place to download the patcher and try it out. Also one of my concerns is that some of the things i was reading seemed to say that the patcher fixed the homebrew for us on ds lites while i'm using a ds phat.

So does anybody know where i can get this patcher and if it will work for ds phat?
