Hacking I NEED HELP with 2 questions nobody else will solve

I recently bought a DS2 under the impression it was good. Wellllll.... Anyway, I have tried almost every text editor available, but NOTHING WILL WORK!!!! I need a text editor. It is about fifty percent of the reason I got the stinking card in the first place.

Alternatively, The real time menu will also not work, it of course being the other fifty percent i got the stinking card. I am depending on these things both working or I will be a saaaad panda.
Any help is very greatly appreciated.

What are your questions? This just seems more like a rant than questions.
But a good text editor would be DSOrganize
Did you try backing up your card and reformatting with this to fix your other problem?
(use these options : FORMAT TYPE - FULL (Erase ON) : FORMAT SIZE ADJUSTMENT - ON)

moonshell can work as a text editor too

and what exactly is not working with the real time menus?

You opted for the $35 card just for a text editor?

If you put Moonshell on it, make sure you enable the text-editing software when you're installing it, else it won't be there.
