i need help ASAP (3ds is freezing)

i have a 128gb sandisk sd card which was just working a few minutes ago till i installed a theme and now its suddenly freezing. wehn i take out the sd, it works perfectly fine so i believe there is something wrong with mine. if there is a fix i can make without having to buy a new microSD that would be appreciated. the theme is a persona 5 theme that i accidentally deleted. unrelated possibly, but on the root of the sd card i deleted a file, i dont know if this could possibly be the reason my 3ds is freezing like this. thank you!!!!!!!

Try backing up all the files off the SD card then reformatting and testing it. (there are links to the macOS and Linux versions of those pages near the top)

It could be dying or fake, in which case you should get a new SD, if the test says it's good then it may fix itself by just reformatting. I personally recommend formatting 128 GB cards with both SD Formatter then again with GUIFormat afterwards – follow the full guide instead of skipping the "32GB or smaller" section. It sounds weird but it's not all that uncommon for that to fix misbehaving cards.
