Hacking I need help about updating my psp to frimware 6.61

I run the updater and when i press start i get this error message "The Memory Stick could not be read if you cancel, you may not be able to start the PSP system. Check that the Memory Stick is correctly inserted, and then press the X button. (80010005)"

I advise you, if it is not strictly necessary (eg some game you are interested in does not work), not to update it. You have to see if it's worth the risk.

I advise you to do an online update. Just set your wifi router to wep or none security. It is the only way to connect, since psp does not support wpa. I did this and worked. Now I have 6.61.
