I'm very happy to be a part of the great WiiU community, I love my wiiu gamepad but it has some issues that are a bit inconvenient for me, I always want to start my wiiu independently of the gamepad as well as encounter gamepad battery drain issue so i want to make this button mod, hope you like it!

No pictures of the soldering job?
No pictures of the internals?
No work log?
sorry I didn't record a lot of details but I did take a picture when the button switch was attached to the case. I considered a lot of switches and decided to go with the standard 7mm x 7mm switch because it fits very well and has the best stability.

Before making this mod, we considered many ways to have the optimal between convenience and aesthetics, fortunately I work in 3D design so it helped me to make a quite satisfactory this mod. If you have a 3D printer you can find a print file of this mod on website cult3d.com called " WiiU emotion stand and button power " The power switch uses a common type to buy is 7mm x 7mm, it gives good performance and fit for Wiiu Gamepad case. Wish you have a nice time!
