We all love The Legend of Zelda, right? And we all despise Cookie Clicker, right? Well, Now I'm bringing them together to make something.... So-so.
Plot: (WAIT! Applaud me, I can make a clicker game with a plot.) Ganon and his monsters are attacking Hyrule AGAIN and Link is the only one who can stop him, as he is the Hero of Time. Even though usually you need to collect Pendants, Rocks, or Heart Containers to get the Master Sword, this time you need the most beloved item in Zelda..... Rupees, of course! Click the Rupee to get some, then buy upgrades to collect them faster! Now here's the catch: Even though you WOULD think you only need like a couple hundred or thousand, well.... YOU NEED A TRILLION RUPEES!
    Now, on to saving.
    It doesn't exist.
Instead, there are special passwords hidden in game, and on the Internet (wink wink nudge nudge) so... find one, dur.
Actually, I have one just for my fellow Tempers: gbatemppromo
Enter it for additional starting Rupees!
    Download Link (pun pun): http://gamejolt.com/games/rupee-clicker/165453
Oh, F**k! I gotta edit this because of an update: The Master Sword no longer costs a trillion, but after you buy it you just leave the Overworld and go to Death Mountain.

Did you know of this website?

    http://www.zeldaclassic.com/index.php

It has modern versions of zelda for windows and osx and linux. If you have homemade zelda levels you might try uploading them to the quest database. You can also download homemade levels there from the quest database.

I might try it soon when I get home. Sounds neat. What did you use to make it?

Well for one thing, I used MIDI files for the music, which are uploaded. And, have you ever heard of the Scratch programming language? I used a slight mod of that to make the game. I also made a few other, like a remake of breakout (Google Images, anyone?), and a remake of Flappy Bird (oh god.). Oh yeah, I made special game icons too. The reason I want to say that is because when I go to compile the icon defaults to some weird thing.

I am actually developing a remake of Space Invaders, except it's endless, and the only ways to get hurt is if an alien touches the bottom of the screen or your rocket, and the game lasts forever. I might add a mystery ship at the top ;)
EDIT VERY IMPORTANT: You know, when I started programming, I created Rupee Clicker with little knowledge of programming, and I thought since the games I made were so basic people would hate on my stuff. But crap, I was wrong by a D-----------> Longshot. (Another Zelda reference. I AM ON FIRE!!!)

Anybody still reading this thread? Cuz I am actually currently working on:
    -Space Invaders ENDLESS
    -Project MARIOPAINT
    -A game with MONIES
An update to Rupee Clicker just does not seem possible at the moment. The game takes forever to load now, I don't want to strain it anymore than I have. If enough people play it though, I may make a second Rupee Clicker as a sort of expansion to the original. Just let me finish these games first.
