Hacking I installed an update for a game I don't have. Is it safe to install that game?

Hi guys,

So I accidentally installed an update for Super Smash Bros. thinking it was the original CIA. I now want to install the proper game. Will the fact I installed the update before the actual game have any effect on my system? Any help is appreciated.
