10.7 or below: SafeSysUpdater, to check your downgrade pack. (You don't need this if you're using PlaiSysUpdater)

I feel your pain. Friend gave me a o3ds and the idiot upgraded it to 11.0.0-33E
All I wanna do is install .cia games and play fire emblem fates. Spent all day trying to get plaisysupdater to go past "HACK INIT". Too scared to open this thing up too, never did hardmods. :o

you can try to sell the 3ds and buy a new one with a lower firmware, wait until some new way is discover to downgrade or hard mod (potentially dangerous)

You should:

- Buy another 3DS, downgrade it, set up an emunand
- Perform a system transfer between the current 3DS and the EmuNand of the new system you bought.
- Sell the 11.0 3DS and continue on with the one you bought

Alternatively, commission an experienced hardmodder on this site to do the hard work for you.

Another solution is to wait for 11.0 downgrading to become a thing and never upgrade it past 11.0.

I know what the title said, but if he knew if having 11.0.0-33 was no longer downgrade possible, this post may not be here right now. Even with new homebrew enabler, only current hardmods are downgrade possible. He should have added he was on the latest firmware to begin with. Whoever is reading this, please notify the person resonsible for freakyhax and please ask him to make it clear that it doesn't allow downgrades on latest firmware.

You can send it out to be hard modded, then downgrade from there.

If you know how to swap a 3DS motherboard, you could always go to Gamestop, buy a 3DS, take it home, and swap out your 11.0 3DS' motherboard with the 3DS you bought from Gamestop. Then go back to Gamestop, and return the 3DS you bought!

Coming from someone who took apart a 3DS like a zillion times, the motherboard removal is piss easy, now taking the top screen, that part is a bitch. But, you only need to worry about the motherboard.

Or, you could always buy the same colored 3DS as the one you currently have from Gamestop, and just swap the battery covers! Doing that would take like 5 minutes at most. After just take back your 11.0 3DS with the battery cover from the new 3DS you just bought back to Gamestop.
