I downloaded a bunch of stuff.....

okay so i downloaded a bunch of stuff to make my Windows XP look more vista/mac-like cuz they look good?

anyway i downloaded objects like flyakiteos,objectodkc,rocketdock, and a bunch of stuff BUT i uninstalled them

the Problem:

-My logon screen isn't a the standard Xp one - instead its a MAC os log on screen and it's pretty ugly.

the only program still on my comptuer is Objectdock

help? i want my standard windows xp log on back

click windows>run> type "msconfig"

go to "boot.ini" tab,
then check all the entries there.
one of them is the boot screen, the other is XP.
if you're not sure on which one dont do anything, post a screenshot and ill help you from there.

Boot.ini doesn't let you change the boot screen, only disable it.
I highly recommend you don't mess with it unless you know what you're doing.

The easy and safe way is to install BootSkin or whatever program changed the screen before, set back to the Windows default screen, then you can uninstall the program.

no, programs like stylexp and windowblinds have an entry in boot.ini which create a fake boot screen for xp.
