stay away from R4's and DSTT's.The rest read the reviews to see what you want.No this site doesn't sell them but take a look at ShopTemp.com which gbatemp.net affiliates

hello!

most of our members here will tell you that the Acekard 2i is currently the best cart, regardless of the DS you have !
it has been elected "flashcart of the millenium" recently.

you can find it on ShopTemp:
http://shoptemp.com/products/Acekard-2i-Ca...e-DSi-p-30.html

if you are worried about flashing the firmware, system files and all that stuff, you can choose the optional "flashing service" that Shoptemp offers.
With it, you'll receive a flashcart ready to use... with nothing else to flash/configure/etc.

For the original DSL, the R4 is an okay solution.
Very cheap, reliable Wood R4 firmware, but 2gb limit and no worky on the DSi.
There's the pricy CycloDS with some really nice features, SDHC support, but still doesn't work on the DSi.

Then there's the Acekard 2i, works on all systems, supports SDHC, has the up to date AKAIO firmware and is very affordable.

If you're really cheap, then the $6 original R4 is a fine solution to be honest, i just bought one and it's working great on my old DS Lite.

But stay AWAY from anything else with the R4 name, they're all clones, fakes, unauthentic, and unreliable.
Don't get an R4i, don't get any R4 that claims to work on the DSi or supports SDHC, they're crap.

is m3i any good?

and looking at the acecard 2i is the 1 every 1 keeps telling me is good~
I personally don't recommend the M3i.
I bought one, it came with a faulty USB cable. Because gamezway ignored my emails, I bought another from Gamekool.
Finally flashed the damn things, both of them were awful.

Sure the sakura firmware is nice but the game compatibility was crap, the DS would shut-off or flicker in sleep mode, and games had terrible slowdown on a perfectly fine microSD (that I use in my Acekard).

The Acekard 2i is great though, near perfect game compatibility, no bells and whistles just flawless DS rom support.

Shoptemp will update the Acekard 2i to work on DSi 1.4, and if you choose to buy a microSD with it, it'll include the latest AKAIO firmware and be preloaded with their favourite homebrew games and apps.

Just drop the games you want on there and it'll be ready.

You *might* want to backup the contents and format the microSD properly with Panasonic SD formatter though, not knowing how the microSD is formatted when you get it.

I still have a m3 ds simply so i can't really say from experience which you should get >.< I do hear alot about Acekard 2 though, they seem quite popular. Another card that was/is good is cyclods (Hardly 0 games needed to be patched.) and now the supercard 2, they claim that all games will run on it, even future one's with AP as they've emulated the CPU of the DS and other carts haven't.

thats an R4 clone, not an official M3 card....
flawed logic on Cyclo, they update their firmwares to make the games run properly,so do other cards. On SCDS2...let's just hope they speak the truth

Just so you know, the M3 DS simply is identical to the original $6 R4DS.
