<hykem> it seems gbatemp only consists whining babys. I told them specifically that I would release the hax BEFORE feb. that's still 14 days to go.
<neimod> well, that's the temp for you
<neimod> three important rules for this shitpile of a forum:
<neimod> never argue with the people there
<neimod> never announce a project there
<neimod> never release anything there
<neimod> you've broken rule 1 and 2. don't make another mistake and break rule 3.
<hykem> You know, you're right. I have two weeks left of vacation, I have a lot of other stuff to do. I really don't want to waste my free time with working for people, who don't appreciate what I'm doing.

:D:D:yay::yayu: GREAT SUCCESS !!! :yayu::yay::D:D

Believe me, this is good news for the WiiU and Nintendo. Let's be honest, 99% of you are interested in this exploit because of piracy and not because of homebrew. The great era of homebrew is just over. There are a lot of great devices, which don't need to be hacked to run your own software. For those who just bought a WiiU because of hykem's announcement and piracy: Buy games! After more than three years the WiiU has a nice library of good games that are worth purchasing. Devs worked hard on those games to give you the best experience possible. It would be an insult to pirate those games. Most of you will be raging because of this post, but I'm prepared for that (already made some popcorn). Maybe at some point in your life you will understand that this is for the greater good.
We now know you made that IRC log yourself and it's fake LOL, but just to kind of defend the homebrew side of the IOSU.
http://wololo.net/2016/01/08/is-piracy-a-prerequisite-for-a-striving-homebrew-scene/
It details quite greatly how piracy can lead to a WAY better homebrew scene than one without piracy (for instance the PSvita XD)

Guys guys how about this, Neimod is full of shit. Great conclusion! Everyone just go back to your houses!
Actually, that's most of this community that's full of shit. Whenever a dev is going to release something significant (I'm used to the 3DS scene hence my examples), they are being harassed and treated like shit.
- From the very beginning, when @smealum announced Ninjhax (at the time we didn't even know which game was needed), and then decided to report his release because of the then upcoming release of the New3DS, I remember almost everyone calling him a liar and a script kiddie. Even when an admin said that he had tested Ninjhax and that is ran pretty well nobody gave a shit and continued to do so.
- And very recently, when @JustPingo announced KTM, the reactions this generated in the community made him abandon the project halfway through.

There are many other examples, and from what I've seen the past few days I've been lurking on the Wii U section, that's actually not much better here.

We have an agreement here! I think that is one of the reasons this thread should be locked...

Anyone noticed how neimod sometimes does not make a dot after his sentences, while hykem always does. Seems to me this chatlog is real. At least it seems like a conversation of two different writing types. But imho doesn't matter, hykem is a fine guy, he will not just abandon this forum. I guess he will at least explain his decision here at some point. I guess we have to respect that decision.

I truly think things should be natively supported by wiiu like tcpgecko/pygecko I love finding and using cheats for offline games even if I had to by a wiiu that had cheating device but disabled online multi-player parts of games that had it.Yes I suck at gaming and I need cheats plus I just enjoy them more.

I agree with the point he's trying to make, but I'm not a fan of the fact that he appears to have fabricated an IRC log to make it and get a ride out of people
What if it's real? Do you know who Neimod is at least? It definitely appears real to me.

Guys as far as I can tell, there's only one neimod on this site, and that's the one that's posting here. If he's telling the truth, you people have nobody to blame but yourselves. This is the most disgusting gaming community I've ever seen.

Fake or not, you can see Neimod is definitely trying to piss people off for a while now, probably because he's so against piracy he feels he's getting some kind of revenge by writing these witty posts. Teasing ppl because he didn't release his exploit and shit, and even if that really shady looking irc log was real, we still got the entire scene to work on exploits and stuff to contribute the entire homebrew scene. Also believe it or not, piracy will never be stopped

It is a shame if the whining crybabies have allowed it to also hurt us, which had a genuine interest in the homebrew development for the Wii U.
We are also out there, even though we are outnumbered by the turds, which cannot think even one day ahead or understand how a calendar-statement saying "before February" works.

On another topic. Of course I am eager for when the exploit comes (if it still comes - I'm only interested in the hacking-related updates, so I am not gonna read the last 10 pages of something not containing that). Anyway, I hope he does not dedicate vacation-time on it though, if he finds it a chore.
The only chores I "want to do" during my holiday, is the occasional clean-up now and then.

I have an idea of who he is, and I know that it could be real, but for now there is no evidence besides from Neimod himself that what he's saying is true and it came out of nowhere

For context I was one of the few people that believed Exzap had a prototype Wii U emulator and this looks suspect to ME
