they could be playing tricks with ninty

HEY LOOK WE GOT USERLAND PATCH ME MUTHAKIPPERS (they did just patch to 5.5.1)

5.6.0 comes and boom everyone gets Iosu by a totally different path/method

Userland was already patched with 5.51.

I just got a feeling that the end result wont be a browser exploit and the devs are leading ninty down a false rabbit hole, that, would be good. However I understand the flaw in my idealistic view, all this work just for it to be a false flag to ninty...its a lot of work to waste.

I don't even have a wiiu. So you can halt your entitlement arguement before it gets any further.

The scene was different before. But back then one exploit meant cracking the device open forever. Nowa days, you need to trigger an exploit every time you want unsigned code. For that reason I can see waiting. But I still firmly believe people should know better then to update if they want homebrew. It's in the book.

Just to clarify, when I say "you" I don't only talk to you personally, but everyone who reads my comment.

You can "believe" whatever you feel like to, you're entitled to your opinion. And by the way, most of the people who ask for the release of the current firmware exploits are those who did the opposite of what you said : " But I still firmly believe people should know better then to update if they want homebrew. It's in the book."
Not sure how long you've been watching the scene, but since the first webkit exploit appeared with firmware 4.1.0, the devs have been warning the users to not upate beyond 5.3.2 and a release would happen around E3. See the idea of "you should just release and people must not update" didn't really work well back then :). You must understand a scene will never be sucessful if it doesn't have a large number of users in the community, and you can only gain that with more firmware support.
We've been discussing this for thousands of times for the last year... And I don't feel like going through useless debates again.

Back to topic : for those who "acidentally" updated to 5.5.1 just hope hykem is using a different bug in the browser than the one got patched, other than that, nothing else is patched.

Could you test if this works for you:

jasper.debugit.nl/wiiu/browserhax_fright_tx3g_wiiu.php?sysver=540

Should display hello world on your TV... Hope it works, not useful ofc but poc.

Thanks
Are you sure from the link you wrote? It's looks weird

Feel free to PM me if you have other things to say, I just don't think it's a good idea to flood this thread with this repeated discussion. It's out of topic, since Hykem isn't waiting for a firmware patch to release what he got ;).

Oh no no. Conversation is over lol

Just setup Tubehax, but there is also Nallar's DNS as extra protection for the secundary DNS, which is changed, what is the DNS now?

That's what i'm also curious about. The 3DS topic hasn't been updated yet and (s)he wasn't online for a while, so it seems no information regarding it is floating around.

I didn't try to ping it or check it whatsover, but since the update is not getting through and i played online an hour ago, yes tubehax still works perfectly fine.
