You can remove the tubehax DNS and safely update your game as long as there's no new firmware update. If a 5.6.0 firmware ever gets released, disabling tubehax will let your Wii U update to that, probably removing compatibility with any upcoming exploits.

Instead of going crazy with hysteria waiting for the exploit to drop, you can always study computer stuff like me so you can beep and boop to your friends like all the other cool kids.

I do not really care about the IOSU exploit's release date and the thing I really care about is the documentation from all the threads here on gbatemp and http://wiiubrew.org.

its more likely the lens in the drive, from my experience (have 43 wii u games Im no pirate, VERY interested in backing my discs up) the discs are robust and pretty much scratch proof, tested against my 4 children throwing them around my fkn house when they arent on the shelf.

Nintendo hasn't said that the first reveal of the NX will be at E3, just that they will talk about it at E3. I imagine there will probably be a Nintendo Direct a week or so before E3 starts for the big reveal and then they'll use E3 to really get the hype train rolling with major game reveals, hopefully including a real fucking Metroid this time and of course the inevitable announcement that The Legend of Zelda will be a cross platform NX launch title, to release on Wii U a month or so later, just like Twilight Princess with the GC.
