Hacking How would I "start anew"?

This may seem kinda weird, but I've done something to my Wii and it's really not working like it used to. I tried downgrading, but that leaves everything on there, just changes the firmware. Many of my cIOS's and such have stopped working and I wanted to know if there was something like the "format" option, but for a earlier System version. Or even better, if there is a way to get rid of all the IOS/cIOS that the Wii didn't originally come with and revert the other ones back to normal?
