Homebrew How to use savedatafiler or similar to use a save i downloaded?

I want to a use a save i downloaded from internet i putted it on my sd card and tried to open it with savedatafiler but i cant find it with this program idont know why, should i start a game export the save and then change this save file called main for the other one i downloaded with the same name and then import? im scared of get corrupted save file

i tried it but it say the saved data is not compatible with this version so it cant be used refer to the electronic manual for details
