Hacking how to upgrade to 4.2

i have a wii on 3.3e want to upgrade to 4.2 to mod it how would i get 4.2 files to upgrade as done it threw modmii but wont load sd files as there is no sd card icon showing on wii.

In the whole list of options modmii has there is one (somewhere, sorry not at Wii) that allows you to update through internet I'm sure.

There's also the cool black theme update too.

from what i understand, your tring to load files that have the .wad extension yes?

what you need to download is MMM (multi mod manager) to instal these files.

(load it using the homebrew channel)

to install the homebrew channel you need a savegame exploit here

then do the following

If your SD card has a private directory with saved channels, rename it temporarily, e.g. to "privateold". Having other saved channels on the same card will screw it up. (You can skip this step if you don't have any channels on the SD card. Saves are fine.)

Copy the Bannerbomb "private" folder to the root of your SD card.

Take your Wii executable, name it "boot.dol" or "boot.elf" if it isn't already, and save it in the root directory of your SD card. (in this case it is the hackmii installer fund here

Put your SD card in your Wii and turn it on.

For Bannerbomb v1: Go into Wii Options --> Data Management --> Channels --> SD Card.

A message should appear asking to "load boot.dol/.elf". If it freezes or does not appear, download the next .zip file from the Bannerbomb website and start over.
The homebrew on your SD card will load. Enjoy!

i have it loaded i have put wii versions as 3.3e and desired version 4.1 will it update to 4.1 when it gets to it ? just so i know it will be ok
