This is a great way especially for me if you use foil for Tegra payload injector. Some of the apps are glitchy when entering CFW. So wait until you get a loading error screen from some of these more bugging prone CFWs and swap your memory cards to play your other backup ROMs. This is one way. I was thinking that somebody could develop an app that kicks your switch's CFW into an error screen so you can do this without going through the process. Anybody know any other ways then this to make it easier to play different games?

Hi
Your best option is to use Atmosphere CFW which has reboot to payload function. Using hekate is the way to go. When you reboot to hekate menu, change your SD card and select Amosphere payload.

Yeah, was gonna suggest this as well. SX OS also supports reboot to payload I believe.
Alternatively you can reboot to Hekate -> Switch cards -> Reboot RCM and inject again. I have my payloads on my dongle so for me that's equally convenient.

Actually you don't need to reboot into RCM and inject at all. Just Switch card at hekate menu.

Or just change the SD while in HOS and then reboot to CFW.

You're risking data loss or corruption with this no?

I know, but I don't even have Hekate set up to launch payloads. And the dongle (with multiple payloads set up) is just as convenient :)

I mean you can do all of this from your SD card and wihtout taking out the dongle.
Besides you just need to drop the payloads in the payload folder in hekate. More convenient no:)

I use nxmtp which allows you to access your internal and sd card from your computer with your usb c-type cord and transfer files that way, and use sleep so never need to reboot unless an error happens.

Of course this wouldn't work if someone wants to use two different sd cards but otherwise it works great.

I keep the dongle in the pouch which is almost always within hands reach, so for me it's not a problem, but yeah you're right.

Use Reboot to Payload homebrew to go into Hekate - Take SD card out while in the Hekate menu - Boot back into CFW. No need for a jig or dongle or anything else.

or just reboot to hekate with the reboot option from power menu (if you replace the reboot payload with hekate).
