The first post has an "upgrading from a lower hacked firmware" section, and part of os involves going to a clean 5.00, from where you can install M33 again since 6.x stuff isn't working for some reason. So with hellcat's flasher I can go from OFW 6.60 to CFW 5.00 m33-6 or is there a proper procedure I need to follow?

If hellcat's will let you flash right to M33 that'd work, I've just never tested that.So just to be sure it's flash with hellcat's from OFW 6.60 to OFW 5.00 then to CFW 5.00 m33-6.
Many Thanks.
I successfully downgraded a PSP 3000 OFW 6.60 to CFW 6.20 PRO-C2. I guess I'm good to go and play some games.
Btw, is 6.20 PRO-C2 a good enough CFW? or should I downgrade some more?

What a.15 homebrew do you use? Nearly all of it was outdated by newer homebrew around the year 1786. </hyperbole>I'm still on 5.00 M33-6 with the 1.50 compatibility layer (PSP-1001.) I'm slightly concerned as to what I'd lose by upgrading to 6.60 permanent. M33 supposedly had fastest load times, plus I still use a bit of 1.5 homebrew
Dax dumper, at one point I had to use a Key Cleaner, uhm... snes9x, gpsp. Actually that's probably it. I did upgrade a good amount of my homebrew a year ago. And really, will I lose all save data? I suppose. Two questions. Do I attempt to run a 6.60 update or go to 5.00 clean first? And again, save files? I've had my PSP since right around launch. So effectively nothing then, or at least nothing that you don't have equivalent or better options for on 6.60.
