Misc How to remove someone else's eshop info?

Purchased a new 3ds preowned from someone with stuff preloaded on it. I tried to use the eshop but it has someone else's info and the previous owner is claiming not to know the info.

I'm not knowledgeable in 3ds modding so i didnt want to risk factory resetting since if it messes this up I wont know how to fix it.

How can I log out of the 3ds eshop so I can sign in using my own info?

You can't log in or out on the eShop.
Format the console, there's no risk involve.

Is it still on OFW? Or did you go and mod it already?
