Trust me guys, only dumbshits that don't know what they're doing, brick their Wiis. I've never had a problem patching my Wii this way. And of course I backup my nand first, AND have both BootMii and PriiLoader installed. This isn't my first rodeo, cowboy. My Wii is a launch System, and I've been tinkering with it ever since the Twilight Hack reared it's ugly face. Besides, I like that it's a Wii-dependent updater, where-as ModMii is dependent on a computer and the User to manually download everything. I really don't care for removing my SD card, getting a card reader, and manually updating everything. That's just a waste of my time.
....Please stop..... If you are so certain keep your methods to yourself.
On this board your advice is regarded as bad advice. BECAUSE it's Wii dependent and needs a valid internet connection, the way you tend to use it.If ninty were to do some management on their servers, this can potentionally brick your system. But you probably allready know that, don't you?
Oh, bricking is so easy with PMW....be happy you do not know what PMW can do to your Wii system
And BTW HOW did you manage to setup PMW on your SD card?, Magic?

It's a one-time PC setup, as opposed to ModMii. Don't be a pompous jackass.
Ha, shows you do not know what you are talking about.
Modmii also takes on time setup.
After that you can mod any wii, NO INTERNET or PC aquired.
I'll be a Jackass whenever I want to, BTW.
At least I can choose to do so.

Point is both methods need a PC, wich was your WHOLE problem.
On top of that Modmii provides you with the most clear, thourough and safest way to mod your Wii.
NO obscure filenaming etc... i think this shows that there are still dumbshits ( just to quote you ) that are lucky enough to get away with crap apps like PMW. Good for you but it's bad advise around here.
