Over years of use rechargeable batteries will say "fuck you, I've had enough of your shit."
To my understanding lithium batteries get stressed when you charge them. For this reason you should not have your phone plugged into the charger overnight. I'm going to extrapolate a little here to say that you shouldn't have your Switch connected to the dock all night with the power plugged in. But what if you are playing on your Switch? Should you remove the power cable once the battery gets to ~98%?
