Uh. No. Versions of windows arent region specific like versions of games. You probably just need the Japanese language pack.

I set my region/language and non-unicode program support all to Japanese and couldn't get it to load. It also specifically lists "Japanese Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista" as a requirement.

However, it may simply not have worked due to being an early release build with kinks still left to work out.

Can anyone do a quick trade-back with me? I want to see if "method 1" described above will work for to activate the event.

EDIT: Trading and trading back the event Celebi doesn't work. Looks like it has to be done using the transfer machine.
Oh well, I have a lv.1 Zorua anyways.

Apparantly there are some issues with XP, as people in the game cheating thread on 2ch are also complaining about it. Oh well, no rush.

Huh. I ran it with the japanese language installed, and using applocale, doesn't show. The windows process for it is running, however.

Edit! It works, everything's in ??? and Japanese, Suppose I can work with it as I know pokesav well enough to know the commands and got a Translation for moves and natures somewhere.

I have a little favor to ask (If anyone has spare time). I want to transfer my pokemon Platinum pokemon to my White save file. I was kinda pissed when I learned that I'd have to wait until the English versions came out, so I instead converted all of my pokemon into .pkm files and tried to transfer them using the new pokesav for Black and White. For some odd reason it wouldn't load my save file which has already beaten the game. If you want to try, go ahead. Put these pokemon into boxes inside of my White save file. Nothing else please:
