    Hey,
I softmodded my PS3 yesterday with 3.55 kemeaw (what's the best right now?)
and I got MultiMan, and plan to play and dump games from the internal hard drive.
But, how do I play videos from an NTFS external hdd?

not possible. the ps3 doesnt recognize NTFS. but you always can make a PAL partition of your drive for your ps3-needs

What is a PAL Partition? I know what it means in REF to games but shouldn't you have put FAT32?

I had read somewhere that you could install some kind of library or something and it'll work. And, there's an option (that doesn't work) in MultiMan that lets you use NTFS or FAT32

Ok, thanks for the help [IMG]
So basically I plan to just dump games onto the internal hard drive and play movies and music through LAN streaming.

i see that this is about a month old but i would like to clean this up a little and say that YES multiman does do NTFS "limited" but it in fact does do NTFS i play movies off the NTFS side of my ext. HDD all the time just do a little home work to get the NTFS side to work its not just a PnP
