Hacking How to partition 500 GB Hard Disk for Wii and GCN Nintendont?

Hello, I want to partition my 500 GB Samsung External Hard Disk to be able to play Wii Games and Gamecube Games with Nintendont on an original Wii. I'm on Windows Disk Management but I don't understand what to do to partition the HDD. I've looked for some tutorials, they say I have to first to shrink volume and then add a new simple volume? If somebody can help me, that would be great.

Keep it all fat32 and one partition

Yeah, that was the best solution, formatted it to fat32 and it works like charm, thank you!
