There are many helpfully homebrew in NDS scene that missing in 3ds scene.
Without a flashcard is it possible?
It isn't possible to do an emulator-like NDS capable of running NDS Homebrew (for example, emulate only the BIOS to run these HomeBrew)?
Is it impossible to convert for 3ds?

He's basically asking if a program exists that can convert nds homebrew to .3ds.(sorry but one does as far as i know) but if you're wiling to learn how to code it is possible.

Well of course, you can always port things, but it's not easy. You can't just grab a tool and press the Port button and be done with it. An it's not like you can learn to code and whoop there it is, you can port things now. Learning things like that takes a long time.

You're taking what i said the wrong way. I'm completely aware of what you stated.
I was telling the program thing to OP, and the coding thing to you since you suggested that. Unless you meant to REALLY learn to code, which probably isn't what OP wants.

Whoa, chill. You don't need to answer with such a condescending attitude! :C

He's right though, OP. Your best bet if you want DS homebrew ASAP is using something like a DSTwo flashcard. Or just learn how to code and port them! I'm a n00b at this but since both DS and 3DS have ARM CPUs, it shouldn't be as hard as say, porting an open source PC program to 3DS. :)
I was just umm... stating the facts. Sorry if I sound rude, it's just that lately I've been seeing people saying "learn to code!" like as if in 1 week you'd be able to port stuff, but that's impossible. And tbh, the people who make these threads don't come off as the kind of people who'd learn programming... maybe in sooome time they will but not right now.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.

I live maybe 3 minutes from a Dairy Queen, so I would just go there for ice cream anything anyways. I usually get the Oreo Blizzard, or a Peanut Buster Parfait.
