Homebrew Question How to install XCI ?

Hi,

Just followed this guide: https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/user_guide/emummc/launching_cfw/ and now Im on 9.1.0 emunand.

Now I want to install an game which is .xci format
I tried example xci2nsp but this gives me no error and none nsp files. (The prod.key file generated with lockpick which was included in that guide is located at my .switch folder)

Im kinda lost here, as it seems like a lot of stuff happend in 2019 and a lot of the things I find is outdated.
What is the preffered way in 2020 to install an xci game?

I use Tinfoil and you need to install python and nut on your computer. Then you can install nsps or xcis from your computer or even an external hard drive.

Thanks, seems to be "working"

But I cannot launch the game, the game icon is blank/loading icon. And when I try to launch it it just says that "Nintendo have restricted online access on this console" (It is banned)

I tried to install some patches from github at JJoonie86/hekate/releases/tag/5.0.0J "Atmosphere_patches_.for.fusee.primary.only.7z". But after overwriting files on my sdcard the emunand stopped working and only the regular atmosphere was working. Also it didnt help in launching the game, tried to install it on regular atmosphere sysnand aswell..

They might be the same thing as the one you used but IDK if the one you used is updated with 9.1 patches which are needed.

Ended up redoing my sdcard using sdsetup website and that worked wonder.
