How to have an egg drop 1 meter on a bare concrete floor without breaking it

Well one obvious answer to the literal title would be to interpret "it" as the egg breaking the floor, but come on, that would be lame;

another way you could cheat is by wrapping the egg in some added shell, but that's cheating too.

What you should do is to

drop the egg from 110 cm or more; that way the egg will truthfully fall at least 1 meter, unprotected, toward the floor without breaking.

You could just hard boil the egg and drop it the one meter and it won't break

You can drop it while submerged in water (boiling water, so previous poster can eat it's breakfast.

Why not just drop a plastic egg like the ones that toddlers use when using a make-believe kitchen set? Or how about those wooden eggs that people use for arts and crafts? I do not believe that you specified that the egg has to be an animal egg.

Oh I've done this one before. You scoop out the center of a brand new extra large plastic jar of peanut butter, stick the egg in, replace the previously removed pb, making sure the egg is perfectly concealed in the middle of the jar. It works. Or at least it did when I was in 2nd grade, who knows what evils the Big Egg and Big PB industries have done since then.
