Yeah.. Mother (Earthbound Zero) refuses to boot up in nesDS.
Could someone give me that one procedure to make it work? It involved a PC NES Emulator, and that's about all I remember from it.

Start the game using your favourite NES emulator, take the save file and and rom and use it on NesDS. That is all.

I'm gonna work my way up from Mother, to Earthbound on the SNES, and hopefully by then, Mother 3 will be fully translated.

hey can you send me the save that makes it work? like host it?

1.) Download Nestopia, extract the folder onto your desktop.
2.) Download Earthbound Zero from wherever you want, and place it onto your desktop.
3.) Load it with Nestopia.
4.) Get to the point where you save in the game.
5.) Exit Nestopia to create the save file.
6.) Look in the Nestopia folder, and look in a folder named 'saves'
7.) Earthbound Zero.sav should be in there.
8.) Transfer the .sav and .nes file over to your MicroSD.
9.) Ta-da! Portable Mother!

Have fun.. I can't upload the save file because I don't have my DS here at the moment, and all my saves are on it.

There is a patch to make this game easier (made by Tomato of Starmen.net).

Find it on this Page

Also, Starmen.net has a ton of information on the Mother series (including walkthroughs for the games)

Have fun

Is it so hard that a 2x EXP patch is needed?
IIRC, it wasn't that hard.. Not Etrian Odyssey hard.
