Hardware How to change the outer shell...can it be done?

My dilemma is this: I've got a mint condition Classic NES-style GBA SP, and a couple of brighter screen AGS-101 models kicking around. I would like to take the bright backlit screen of the AGS-101 and put it inside the Classic NES shell. Might anyone know how I might go about doing this? Would I have a good chance of doing it without hosing the hardware?

It's very simple, just be careful with fragile parts such as the ribbon cable.
