What are the steps i should take? Do i need to restore nand or is it as simple as updating files in the sd root?

Just update files in the sd.. and choose the right payload depending how you push it to the switch

Hey man, since you're pretty vague in what's going on with it, I'd suggest you ask for help in the ReSwitched discord server. Here's an invite link for you. Best of luck.

What you need to do: Remove everything except nintendo generated folders (so Nintendo folder and ...). Download latest SDFiles. Push hekate, choose your CFW. Don't go for atmo yet. Wait till it is something special.
