Hacking how the hell do I load up downloaded saves?

Can someone tell me how to load up .sav's from Acekard 2i?

I have a rom file called: Pokémon SoulSilver.nds

Game loads up. I downloaded a file called [7132]Pokémon SoulSilver with the .SAV extension.

I changed the name of both of them to match exactly the same. I tried numerous tutorials on the internet such as changing it to .nds.sav, .sav.nds.. blah blah blah.

No go. Can someone for the love of God please help me? It's actually frustrating me where I'm regretting the acekard.

The Acekard has nothing to do with it :l
Are you 100% sure that they match?
Like, it looks like:
lolromname.nds
lolromname.sav

And not
lolromname.SAV
And stuff?

did you try changing from .SAV to .sav?

Otherwise you'll have to use a converter listed at the bottom of http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/AKAIO#Links

try reading those it might help

and AK2i is case sensitive. it should be xxx.sav and you might have put xxx.SAV I think that is your problem heh heh

No. I put .sav at the end. I know how to do it, it just refuses to accept it.

And I read that page. I know it has to be .sav, and I put it to that. It still doesn't work. I've tried with multiple saves, none of them work.

Provide a link to the savefile, have you also checked the region of the ROM matches that of the Save?

Then what the hell man..... I'll upload images of whats on the card.

EDIT: okay nvm. Instead of adding the accented e in Pokemon in the title, I just made it a regular e... and made sure both of them were the same name. Changed the .SAV to .sav (like I was before), and it worked....messed up.

In the future, just literally copy the rom name from the .nds and paste it on the .sav file. Then change the .nds into .sav and you shouldn't have any problems.

That's what I did... it didn't work. This time I just copied the name from the .sav into the rom name.
