how safe are bots?

Like the title said how safe are bots like "fairgame" ? does anybody have some experience? or are there better bots out there ?

From what I heard, they want to make bot usage illegal to buy electronics.

That being said, I haven't got any experience with them or any tbf.
I'd be cautious when using one.

I don't use them myself but recommend one which is open source with verifiable builds. That should be just as safe as online shopping in general.
