How much would I get if I sold the following items at Gamestop:

1 rather beat up hot rod red DS Phat
Nintendogs chihuahua and friends
MarioKart DS
Kirby Super Star Ultra
Zelda Phantom Hour Glass

I want to get a DSi and either a DSTTi or AK2i, but I am only expecting $30 for my B-Day, and my mom doesn't want me spending any other money on "useless junk".

I already have a regular DSTT, so I can back up the games I want to keep, but the DSTT doesn't work with the DSi, of course, and my DS seems to be on it's last legs.

Would it make a difference if I sold these things at a pawn shop instead? I really don't like selling things at GameStop; I feel like I'm being ripped off (probably because I am

No, I can't say for sure, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Better off selling the games to friends/family or ebay/craigslist.

Half a dollar for one game? O_O
Are you insane?
You can't even buy a board game for that.
I would at least expect 15$ for one.
Not a penny less.
And 5$ for the DS?!
Hell you know NOTHING about prizes.
It would at least be 50$ for it, MINIMUM!!!

Don't listen o this guy Chrisma01, he just want to get your stuff almost for free.
I want to sell my stuff too but if that calculation was true i would get 10.50$ out of all i have. (11 games and one DS regular)
I expect at least 200 for all of it.
And along with about 40-60$ i would have enough to get both DSi and the DSTTi/AK2i.

I don't really know the prices but I would guess the beat up ds PHAT would reach around 50-60 dollars? The games if you know how to sell right can range from 10-20 dollars.

EDIT: oh wait gamestop? DONT SELL AT GAMESTOP. They offer ridiculously low offers, probably 5 dollars for the games 0o. And like 30-40 dollars for the phat.

He's actually not too far off there. Do NOT - I repeat NOT! - trade in to GameStop. Sell them on Ebay where you'll get double the price you would from GameStop.

Wow, thanks for the responses, guys!

I was thinking of selling them at the local pawn shop, where they (hopefully) wouldn't know the specific prices. If they can check online and try to rip me off, I can flash some prices from google shopping that I printed out beforehand. THEN I'll hopefully get $50 for the DS, and $15per game.

o.o
I think that pawn shops are in the business of buying low and selling high.
Print out whatever you want: they'll only offer $5-$10 for each game, and $25 for the DS, if they'll even take it at all.
