I'm Canadian and 360 Arcade goes for 200 while the Pro goes for 250.

I own a banned Pro but I want to keep my HDD.

I've only had it for 9 months so it's in good condition. Never had any problems.

I want to try and sell it for 200 so I can use the money I already have to buy a new Pro and this time, not mod it.

Just want some advice for what I can do or a good ad. Thank you.

Why not keep it? It is modded, so just download all the latest games before they are released and play it on that console. Then you can also switch the HDD now with no worries. So get a new HDD, then fill it up with all the crap you want. Games, Videos, Pictures, Movies, what ever you want.

So you can basically:
- Play all the newest games with no problem
- Switch HDD without being worried about being banned
- Fill it up with all the crap you want xD

Yeah but I still want to play LIVE and I need a new Xbox to do that.

Can I maybe force a RRoD and send it to MS? The sticker has been removed though.

Do they check? Can I take it back to the store? Anything?

Maybe gut-swap it with a clean 360 and bring "back" to the store?

I see... Well... I would first back-up all your files on the HDD. After that, delete everything on it. Try to force a RRoD and send to Microsoft.

If you feel that is too risky, you could just Gut-Swap it... Hopefully, they would both look identical.

If the console's been banned, forcing a RROD isn't going to do anything. MS knows it's banned, they aren't going to repair/replace it. Banned consoles are not under warranty.

you arent going to be able to sell just the console for 200 unless it comes with other things. gamestop sells pros complete with 20gig HDD for 180

values might be a little different in Canada but last time i checked exchange rate was almost even with the United States

You would have to supply a memory unit if no HDD and a load of games to get $100 and sell to someone who has absolutely no intention of using Live ever. You may as well keep hold of it and use it for testing games you may want to buy

not even a retarded person is going to give you 200dollars for a banned xbox :0

Here is what you do:

1. Buy a warranty sticker on Ebay (search "xbox 360 warranty sticker" (They are around 5-15 USD))
2. Put it on your console.
3. You do not have to force a RRoD, just tell them it has it anyway. Send it to MS and they will give you a NEW Xbox 360 (They don't check if it's banned or if it even has an RRoD)

I have tested this, and many of my friends have tested it. It works.

You can't even log a fault on a banned 360 any more, this is how people can test if they are banned before connecting to live!
