Hello all,
It's been a while, and I have completely forgotten how to invoke the cheat screen so I can choose the codes for a given game.

Thanks for your help!

This is for a classic Switch system (original non-lite or OLED version that is)

Are you looking to install the Tesla Overlay, or you already have it and you’re looking for the key combo to make it pop up?

Both of those are answered in the OP here:

if you’re looking for how to install/use the Edizon overlay?

I already had them installed, I forgot how to make them pop-up so I enable the codes!

Yes, that would be helpful as well

OK, I realized how to bring up Tesla, by holding down L and DPad Down and pushing on the right joy stick.

Now I need to know (refresh my memory) how to install / add cheats, because most of the games that I have on my SD card, Tesla reports that there are no cheats for them.

Thanks!

You can grab cheats using Breeze.

you can change the key combo via config file in config/tesla/config.ini (if one doesn't exist make one via notepad then do like this......

[tesla]
key_combo = <combo>

mine is like
[tesla]
key_combo = DDOWN+X
(So if i hold the down arrow/button and X tesla will pop up
also change ;dmnt_cheats always_enabled !80x1 to dmnt_cheats_always_enabled!80x0 (so remove the semicolon and change the 0x1 to 0x0) in atmosphere/config_templates/system_settings.ini also move(dont copy) the file to atmosphere/config that will prevent all cheats from enabling on game start that usually results in a crash

@chrisrlink is correct.

create a file called /config/tesla/config.ini and put the following inside:

Code:
[tesla]
key_combo=RS+LS+ZL+ZR
# A, B, X, Y, LS, RS, L, R, ZL, ZR, PLUS, MINUS, DLEFT, DUP, DRIGHT, DDOWN, SL, SR

This will require you to press both sticks and both lower shoulder buttons at the same time. It’s the easiest to remember and perform complex quad I’ve found to simultaneously press. (Credit @impeeza)

you put a space between key_combo and equals and after equals iirc

Reboot your console. Else it won't see them.
